At this historic City of London guild, a new wing was created between existing Tudor and Georgian structures. We incorporated existing art and furniture, introduced new pieces of art to complement the fantastic light created by the new Modernist style addition.

Jacobean panels were altered to provide a new entrance to the main Georgian hall.

A utilitarian concrete hallway on the ground floor was adapted to incorporate wheelchair access. Over the course of the excavation and build, a number of artefacts were recovered. This space was rebranded the Long Gallery - a new place to exhibit these artefacts. Due to the absence of natural light, artificial light was cleverly used to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
